  • No, all TYTKA Studio products are digital downloads. After completing your purchase, you'll receive instant access to your files, including the sewing pattern and detailed step-by-step instructions with photos. No physical product will be shipped.

  • We currently offer PDF sewing patterns only. PDFs let you start stitching immediately after purchase and include layered print options (US letter, A4, and A0/plotter) as well as step-by-step photo tutorials and a detailed materials list. If you need a printed copy, you can print the PDF at home or take the A0 file to a local print shop or copy center. If you’d like help preparing files for print or choosing the best print settings, contact us and we’ll guide you through it.

  • Yes — all TYTKA Studio PDF sewing patterns include seam allowances. Each pattern and its instruction booklet clearly state the seam allowance used (commonly 1 cm) and show it on the pattern pieces. Where a different allowance is required for specific seams (for example, boxed corners or topstitching allowances), that information is called out in the step-by-step tutorial.

    If you need to change the seam allowance:

    • Adjust your cutting lines accordingly before cutting fabric.

    • Use the guide lines on the pattern pieces to help transfer new stitching lines.

    • Remember to alter any interfacing, lining, or pocket pieces so they match the revised seam allowance.

  • Print the pattern at 100% (Actual Size), trim the pages if needed, and match the alignment marks to tape the pages together. Every TYTKA Studio pattern includes a layout guide showing exactly how the pages fit, making assembly quick and straightforward.

  • Yes! Many TYTKA Studio patterns include companion video tutorials to guide you through the sewing process. You can find all available tutorials on our YouTube channel, and if a pattern has a dedicated video, you'll also find the link on the product page and in the instructions. We regularly add new tutorials, so be sure to subscribe and check back for future releases.

  • We kindly ask that you don't share the pattern files. Each purchase includes a single-user license, which means the pattern is intended for one person only. If a friend would like to make the project too, we'd be truly grateful if they purchased their own copy—it helps support our small business and allows us to continue creating new patterns and tutorials.
